Charlotte joined Roythornes in 2022 as a Senior Associate in our Real Estate team. Prior to Roythornes, she worked at a large regional law firm in Shropshire and for international bank, Deutsche Bank. Charlotte qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and brings with her a wealth of experience in development, leasing and investment projects.
Charlotte’s property knowledge is wide-ranging and brings a wealth of experience to the firm. Charlotte is well rehearsed in property sales and acquisitions - both freehold and leasehold, commercial leases and landlord & tenant work. Her work includes dealing with complex option agreement, promotion agreements and overage agreements.
She has expert knowledge in promotion and option agreements, complex conditional contracts and all types of a joint venture and development agreements. Charlotte can successfully advise clients on all stages of the development cycle from site acquisition through to individual plot sales.
Charlotte has a particular focus on secured finance work acting in commercial and agricultural matters for both lenders and borrowers in all elements of secured finance and is well known for her expertise in this area.
Known by her clients for her friendly practical approach offering jargon-free, technical advice, Charlotte is proactive in progressing transactions.
