Emma Barnard

Emma currently works as a Paralegal in our Family team, having transitioned into the department in August 2024. In this role, she assists clients with a wide range of family law matters.

Prior to joining the Family team, Emma began her career at Roythornes in 2023 as a Paralegal in the Real Estate team. There, she worked closely with the firm’s Conveyancers on various property transactions, gaining valuable experience in real estate law.

Emma successfully completed the Civil/Commercial Mediation Training Programme with ADR ODR International, and in June 2023, she became an accredited Civil/Commercial Mediator. She is also set to further enhance her expertise by undertaking the Digital Dispute Resolution Specialist Diploma with ADR ODR International in the near future.

Emma is also pursuing her LLM at Nottingham Law School after being awarded a scholarship and is working towards completing her Solicitor Qualification Exams, with the ultimate aim of qualifying as a Solicitor.
