Joshua is a Paralegal based in our Alconbury office, with a wealth of experience in commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and property-related legal matters.
Joshua began his career with a degree in Applied and Environmental Geology from the University of Leicester in 2016. Following graduation, he spent five years working in environmental consultancy, where he advised clients on land suitability for development, including: on contamination, foundation design, and ground gas assessments.
A personal legal battle sparked Joshua’s passion for law. After successfully representing himself in a tenancy deposit dispute, he pursued further legal education, funding his Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and LLM Legal Practice Course (LPC) at BPP University with the damages and costs he was awarded. This experience also ignited a keen interest in advocating for others, including gaining rights of audience and advocating in the County Court on a colleague’s matter.
He began his legal career as a Paralegal in 2022 at a firm in Leicester, where he gained broad experience in commercial, corporate, and dispute resolution matters. Here, he worked on lease agreements, company transactions, and complex landlord-tenant disputes amongst others.
In 2023, he moved to a high street firm in Northamptonshire, further broadening his litigation expertise. He handled a diverse caseload, including breach of contract claims, property disputes, negligence matters, and debt recovery, acting as an independent fee earner managing complex cases and being praised by clients for his attention to detail, often finding things they had missed themselves.
Joshua’s determination, meticulous approach, and strong advocacy skills have defined his journey into law, making him a valuable addition to our Litigation team.
