Ranulf Gull graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2022 with a First-Class Law degree, followed by completing his LPC with LLM, where he achieved a distinction in 2023.
Since joining Roythornes, Ranulf has gained diverse experience across multiple departments during his training.
His first seat was within the Private Client team, where he handled a variety of matters, including Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), drafting probate applications, and assisting with setting up trust bank accounts.
Ranulf then joined the Corporate and Commercial team, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for both buy-side and sell-side transactions. His responsibilities included drafting key documents such as Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), disclosure letters, and corporate ancillaries. He played a crucial role in legal due diligence reviews, managing data rooms, preparing due diligence reports, and leading due diligence meetings. Ranulf also gained experience in corporate finance work, cross-border transactions, company restructures, investment rounds, and drafting shareholder agreements, EMI Option Schemes, and share buyback agreements.
In his third seat within the Litigation team, Ranulf has contributed to contentious property matters, partnership disputes, and complex probate claims. His work has included drafting witness statements, liaising with counsel, and preparing applications for the First-Tier Tribunal under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986.
Outside of work, Ranulf is a keen sportsman who enjoys running, golf, and snowboarding.
