Simeon Disley

Simeon has been a qualified solicitor for over twenty years and is a Partner in our Property department. His principal areas of expertise are advising farmers, estate owners and those involved in the food industry in the acquisition, management and disposal of land.

Simeon’s work in agriculture focuses on advising the producers and suppliers of high-quality potato and vegetable crops together with major players in the arable sector. He has particular expertise in the law in relation to the ownership of land adjacent to the coastline. Simeon leads our Water and Flood Management team and has both legal and practical expertise in major partnership schemes to improve flood defences.

Simeon is also vice chairman of The Wash Frontagers Group which campaigns for improvements to the sea defences that protect the East Midlands. He is a member of BASC, the CLA, the NFU and a Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association. He is also Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer of the Freiston Cow Insurance Club, and a Trustee of Boston Rugby Football Club.
