Join us for a morning of networking and insight for the Food and Drink Sector.
A long term partnership – the Waitrose approach
Our speaker is Jake Pickering, Senior Agriculture Manager at Waitrose. Jake leads the team that is responsible for setting and implementing the Waitrose agriculture strategy. His responsibility stretches across the livestock, dairy, fresh produce and horticulture supply chains producing Waitrose products.
In his presentation Jake will be talking about how the famous retailer works closely with producers to ensure that they are paid a fair price and how an innovative long-term strategy is reaping rewards in terms of product supply, quality and animal welfare standards.
He’ll also talk about Waitrose’s role in educating the end consumer about the quality of UK produce and the effort farmers go to in order to supply high quality, good value food.
We do hope you'll join us for some of the best networking in the Food and Drink sector and, of course, an informative and thought provoking presentation.
